creative Art Classes - daytime art classes

I haven’t done art since school so I thought I would give it a try. Creative Art Classes have made really easy to enjoy art. The weekly sessions are well structured, most of the supplies are provided and you get step by step instructions. The teacher and assistant are excellent and lend a hand when needed without being intrusive. I particularly like the flexible approach as art is a personal thing.

This art class means so much to me. It’s more than just learning to paint—it’s a place where I feel relaxed, encouraged, and truly myself. From the very beginning, Carolyn, Lynn and Carrie made me feel so welcome. Their patience, kindness, and passion for teaching really shine through, and they bring out the best in all of us. I’ve gained so much confidence in my art, and I always leave each class feeling happy, inspired, and proud. It’s something I genuinely look forward to every week. Thank you all for creating such a special and supportive space 🎨✨

This class is such a joy each week. I've been attending for a year and thanks to the incredible teaching I've really grown in confidence. I've tried a variety of media and learned so may useful techniques but most of all it's such fun and a wonderful escape. Thank you Carrie, Kerry and Fiona

I have been attending classes in Horsham for more than 4 years now, (starting as a complete beginner) and always look forward to them. It is a relaxing environment and the tutors are always friendly, patient and helpful. My art skills have definitely improved - so much so that I felt confident enough to make my own watercolour Easter cards this year. In addition I have made a number of new friends and also look forward to catching up with them all each week. I would thoroughly recommend these classes to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing three hours a week in a non- pressured and social environment, whilst learning how to draw and paint.

I attended the last 10 week art course as an absolute beginner. Carrie and her team made me feel really welcome, the demonstrations have been really good and I have learnt alot. Carrie and Tara are very patient and always on hand to give me extra support when I have need it. The group are so friendly and welcoming, I have really enjoyed my Wednesday mornings and I am looking forward to seeing what I can produce next term.

I was recommended coming along to try the art course by a friend. I was a little apprehensive as have never picked up a paint brush or pencil. I’m so glad I went along, I’ve met new people and found a new love and hobby. Kerry and Fiona bring many qualities to the class, both are patient, friendly and are passionate about what they do. All materials are provided at the beginning of each lesson along with informative sheets to follow. The best 3 hours of my week, I love it.

Well what a find. I really enjoy the challenge of a new medium each week, all materials paints paper and tools provided at each session. I have managed some stunning and also some not so stunning art works. That is the nature of ART.

I joined the class in Newbury this spring with trepidation as I felt the standard of my work would be very inferior to that of the existing members. It is, but in the friendly atmosphere and with excellent teaching I know that I have improved and have felt a little bit proud of some of the work that I have completed.
