About Creative Art Classes

Carrie - the founder of Creative Art Classes

Hi, I’m Carrie, and art has always been my passion.

I’ve been running art classes since 2015, and I officially launched Creative Art Classes in 2020. My goal was simple: to help people discover and embrace art as a truly fulfilling pastime.

If you are thinking of taking an art class I would love you to join us. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your art journey.

Read on to find out more about our approach and discover why over 90% of our students return.

Our Approach

We know that starting a new hobby, especially art, can feel a bit intimidating. With so many styles, mediums, and techniques out there, it’s easy to feel lost. That’s why at Creative Art Classes, we’re dedicated to removing the barriers and making art accessible and enjoyable for everyone whether they are an absolute beginner or a more experienced artist looking to explore, be inspired or meet other artists.

Learner Led Curriculum

Your feedback is incredibly important to us. We constantly listen to our students to understand what you want to learn and the challenges you face. This allows us to continuously review and refine our curriculum, ensuring we deliver projects that genuinely inspire you and help you progress on your art journey.

Flexible Tuition

We understand that every artist is different. Our classes are designed to encourage exploration while also allowing you to focus on the aspects of art you enjoy most. For example, if you love drawing, we’ll help you hone those skills. If drawing isn’t your favorite, we’ll teach you clever shortcuts and techniques to make that part of the process quicker, so you can spend more time on what you truly love.

Solid Foundations

We take the confusion away by teaching you foundational art skills. Plus, we provide all the tools and materials you need to get started. Once you’ve grasped the fundamentals, our projects will empower you to confidently explore new techniques and styles.

Making Art Fun

We firmly believe that art should be a source of relaxation, mindfulness and joy. We foster a warm, welcoming, and supportive community where you can freely express yourself, connect with fellow art enthusiasts, and truly experience the immense pleasure of creating.

Our Tutors

We’re very selective about who joins our team. Our tutors and class assistants are chosen not only for their exceptional artistic abilities but also for their warmth, compassion, and genuine desire to help you achieve your artistic goals.

Every tutor at Creative Art Classes follows our unified approach to teaching and curriculum. This means the high-quality, inspiring, and flexible learning experience you value is found in all of our classes at all locations.

Our tutors are trained in our approach, ensuring that whoever is leading your class, you’ll receive the consistent, supportive, and effective tuition that defines the Creative Art Classes experience. When you join us, you’re investing in a proven system designed to help you flourish as an artist.
